Job Description: Admin & Finance Executive (Female candidates preferred)

Location: Chennai

The person will take on the responsibility for all administrative & financial tasks at the office.

He/she will collaborate and work alongside our existing employees and volunteers in completing the assigned tasks.

Primary Admin responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handle the organization’s general e-mail account, respond to all general enquires and forward specific enquiries to the respective person.
  • Handle and sort all digital photographs from events
  • Data entry

Primary Financial responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handle end to end Books of Accounts
  • Track, classify, file all receipts, vouchers
  • Handle petty cash and reimbursements
  • Data entry into Tally including managing cost centres
  • Issue receipts for all donations
  • Remit monthly TDS and file quarterly returns
  • Prepare Bi-monthly statement of accounts
  • Interact with external auditor for year-end auditing

Education Qualification / Experience:

  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Graduate in any discipline(B.Com, B.CS, B.BA preferred)
  • Hands-on experience in Tally

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent Knowledge of Tally – Essential
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good English, ComputerSkills
  • Resourceful, responsible and self-starting
  • Ability to manage data efficiently

Other Information:

  • Reporting to: Executive Director
  • Expected Age: Below 35
  • Female Candidates preferred
  • Scope: Full time
  • Remuneration: Rs.10,000-Rs.15,000 p.m. based on the candidate’s profile
  • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
