Job Description: National HR Manager
Location: Chennai
Job Nature: Permanent Full-time
The applicant should strategize and manage all volunteer recruitment, engagement aspects nationally through city based HR executives and other Bhumians
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and strategise HR aspects of volunteer recruitment, engagement and management within existing and new cities with set goals
- Managing and coordinating with city based HR executives, project specific HR leads, city level HR leads related to all volunteer management aspects
- Managing, Training and Induction of new volunteers nationally
- Facilitating volunteer engagement activities at city, project and national level through physical meets and social media
- Tracking and monitoring volunteers attendance nationally and coordinating to ensure there is a constant intake and engagement of volunteers
- Plan, strategise and Facilitating volunteer retention, rewards and recognition through city teams and coordinating annual volunteer awards
- Volunteer feedback management and managing volunteer database
- Support and assist in volunteer leadership grooming aspects
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
- Graduation or Post Graduation in Human resources management (Preferred)
- Prior experience as HR manager with employee management experience must
- Work Experience Required: 3-6 years of relevant work experience
- Prior volunteering experience (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – English, Hindi and/or Tamil
- Basic computer skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint – essential
- Proactive, Self-Monitored, Resourceful, Accountable
- Strategic planning, Problem solving and Decision making skills are essential
- Excellent people leadership and management skills (must have managed a team of at least 3 employees)
- Result and Goal-oriented candidates
- Willingness to travel as required
Other Information:
- Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer
- Expected Age: Below 35
- Scope: Willing to work flexible hours
- Remuneration – Rs.4.8 Lakhs to 5.4 Lakhs per annum
- Expected Joining Date: Immediate
