Job Description: Finance & Admin Executive

Location: Chennai

Job Nature: Permanent Full-time

The person will take on the responsibility for handling employee compensation and benefits, reimbursements, statutory dues and office administration. He/She will collaborate and work alongside our existing employees and volunteers in completing the assigned tasks.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monthly payroll processing
  • Handle petty cash and reimbursements of employees and volunteers
  • Remit statutory payments including PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT and TDS and file required returns
  • Track, classify, file all receipts, vouchers
  • Manage periodic legal compliance
  • Handle employee exit formalities
  • Manage Office administration including employee assets and inventory tracking

Educational Qualification/Experience:

  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience 
  • Graduate in B.Com/B.Sc or any equivalent accounting degree
  • Hands-on experience in Quickbooks/Tally
  • Prior experience with trust/society accounting would be an advantage

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge in MS office packages including excel
  • Resourceful, responsible and self-starting 
  • Ability to manage data efficiency

Other information:

  • Reporting to: Finance Manager
  • Scope: Full time, flexible work hours
  • Remuneration: Rs.3.0-3.6 lakhs per annum, negotiable based on candidate’s profile
  • Expected joining date: Immediate
