Primary Responsibilities include:
Leading the overall teacher development aspect of the Social Emotional Learning Program – working with program partners and school partners as a primary interface
Facilitating teacher development workshops
Monitoring quality of program implementation, providing feedback to team members and partners
Support the development of teachers by maintaining regular touchpoints through classroom observations, meetings etc and providing constructive feedback
Engage the community by working with parents through workshops
Conduct an impact study, both summative and formative to analyse the outcomes of the program
Participate in improving the curriculum/toolkits as required
Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
Minimum two years of experience in planning and execution of training and supporting trainers (Preferred)
Minimum one-year teaching experience (preferably in a differentiated classroom)
Experience of having managed a team
Graduate or post-graduate (Child psychology preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to invest stakeholders and build partnerships
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil.
Data analysis and interpretation. Good command over MS Excel.
Emotional maturity to empathize with the perspectives/needs of teachers/facilitators and team members
Highly resourceful team-player, who is also self-driven
Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Scope: Full time
Remuneration: Rs.4,80,000 –5,40,000 per annum
Expected Joining Date: January 2020
Minimum commitment: Two years
