The Tales of a Wanderer

While the lockdown may have disrupted your travel plans, we have a group of ardent travellers, who would like to take you on a virtual journey to a few fascinating villages of India, through their incredible stories and experiences. 

The Tales of a Wanderer is an initiative by Bhumi, that offers a virtual stage for avid travellers and curious-listeners to share their experiences. It allows us to take a glance into the expeditions and vivid memories of 3 passionate travellers in the glorious villages of India.

In the spirit of celebrating their travel tales, we’d love to hear yours too.

Donor Pass: INR 150

Time: 5 PM – 7:30 PM

All the proceeds from the event will be invested in Bhumi’s initiatives. 

About the Guests:

Priya has been covering and documenting the incredible culture, traditions, lifestyles, and festivals across India for more than six years. She has received many national and international awards for her work on the unexplored parts of the country. She is also a Sahapedia grantee. She has been the chief guest and judge for World Photography.

 

Spoorthy is a backpacker and a fitness enthusiast. She is an advocate of sustainable and budget-friendly travel. She believes that a tourist sees what they have come to see, but a traveller experiences what the place has to offer.

 

Abhishek is a young farmer and traveller. He believes in associating travel to sustainable living and natural farming to facilitate nature conservation. He has been supporting several sustainability projects in tribal areas for a decade. He has also covered several villages in the Western ghats and the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand.
