I have registered on your website, What Next? How do I start Volunteering?

You can begin your volunteering journey with Bhumi after attending an orientation in your city/chapter. Orientations are organised periodically and once you register on our website, we will notify you about the same. You can choose to attend open events in your city, emails for these will reach your inbox as & when they happen.

Why don't you have orientations more frequently?

Orientations are organised only when there is a need for more volunteers in a particular city/chapter. This allows every volunteer to be engaged meaningfully towards our cause.

I have registered on the website/ received SMS but I did not receive an email from Bhumi?

Check your promotions tab and spam, also follow these instructions to ensure you are not missing important emails from Bhumi.

Is there any age limit to volunteer?

Yes & No. For Bhumi’s education projects volunteers have to be below the age of 30.

For the other projects there is no such requirement.

My city is not listed among your chapters, when will Bhumi start there?

Bhumi is fast expanding to all major cities in India,if you would like to start a Bhumi Chapter in your region, visit here.

How will Bhumi Classes be held ?

Bhumi classes at our learning centres are held at most places on Saturdays and Sundays only. At the orientation, you will be assigned to your preferred day/batch and learning centre.

Where will Bhumi’s Classes be held?

Bhumi Classes are held at Shelter Home & community centres. You can choose a project you like at the orientation and we will assign a centre that is most convenient/closest to you.

Will I be given a certificate for my work with Bhumi?

Yes, on your request, a certificate of appreciation will be provided based on the quality and period of your volunteering.

I have not received receipt for my recent donation on the Bhumi website

Please check your inbox for mail from [email protected] with subject containing “80G Donation receipt”. Also, please check your updates tab and spam folder. Kindly allow 2 – 3 hours for the system generated receipt to be mailed. If you have not received the receipt even after 24 hours, please Contact us :[email protected]

I received a transaction failed message. However, my bank account was debited for the same

Most of the times, the amount debited is automatically reversed by the payment gateway. However, if you have received a payment successful message from the payment gateway, please , please Contact us > [email protected], we’ll provide necessary support.

I have registered as a Monthly Sustainable Supporter. When will my contributions start?

Your contribution will be processed between 7th-10th of the subsequent month of the date of registration.

I want to Pause my monthly contribution. Whom do I reach out to?

Please fill this form and we will process your request within 7 working days. Your contributions will be paused from the subsequent month.

On what date will my bank account debited for my monthly contribution? Can I choose the date of my contribution?

Currently all the monthly contributions are processed between 7th-10th of every month. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns.


I want to cancel my monthly contribution (Mandate). Whom do I contact?

Please fill this form and we will process your request within 7 woking days. Your contributions will be cancelled from the subsequent month.

I have not received receipt for my recent donation on a third party website
